More For Maryland is a nonpartisan campaign to change our future and make Maryland the state of opportunity in the 21st century.
The cornerstone of the campaign is the Maryland Opportunity Compact, a new contract between our state, our private sector and our people to create more opportunity, demand more responsibility and deliver more results for our tax dollars every day.
It’s an innovative, common-sense approach that stops excessive spending on last resort programs like prison and foster care and starts investing in success – without new government spending. In fact, it will save us money. As savings grow, a portion of the funds is re-invested in these opportunity-building initiatives and the rest is used to meet other needs.
